But he said "which Hawaiian island", so technically he couldn't say "Hawaii" and then say "Ah ha, but Hawaii would include Oahu, therefore I answered correctly" because he's talking about the big island, not the collection of islands....yes?

I was there 2004-2006. Hono's still big, there haven't been many changes from what I've heard, but they're trying to get either a ferry or a train to run from Pearl City to Hono to cut down on traffic on the freeway. Do you remember the Aliamanu Military Reserve? Right across the highway from it, there was a Coast Guard housing base called Kia'i Kai Hale which they tore down right after I moved away.

I think I've been in there. My dad's in the Coast Guard. That's why we were there. I've heard the Ewa Beach area (where I lived) is a lot bigger since I moved away...
