Bruce Springsteen, my love. His music means a lot to me and is much of my inspiration. I spent some months to finnish this, because I was very busy this spring(2008), but maybe 20-25 hours all counted together.A3

Wow! Jättehäftig. När jag gick in på din DeviantART och såg den på din profilsida trodde jag att det var ett foto (ett väldigt bra foto) men såg sedan att allt du gör är att rita och du gör det väldigt bra!
Det jag gillar mest med bilden är att du har fått det att se ut som att ett starkt ljus lyser på honom från vänster i bild. Väldigt likt ett foto!

Jo, jag hade svåra problem med att hålla teckningen ren, så att det inte skulle bli något kladd på det allra ljusaste.. (vilket det ofta vill bli, för mig..gah

I'm sure you've heard this a lot by now, but this is really a wonderful piece of artwork. How big is the real thing? and did you work from a photo?
You really didn't have any art classes before drawing this? That kinda blows my mind. I've learned how to make pictures like this in an art class but I need a photo and a grid and a lot of time. Longer than it took you for certain. It really does have great contrast and even though an artist will always see the flaws, in time even those are appreciated because the little flaws make it yours and that makes it priceless.
I do agree with the others that you should be recognized for your talent by DA on this piece.

I've not had any artclasses before last week, and yet I have not learned anything useful there. There is just a lot of talk. hehe.
I worked from a photo I found in a small book called "Bruce Springsteen, in his own words" or something like that. I can unfortunately not find the photo in the Internet.
The drawing is in size A3, 297 mm × 420 mm or 11.7 × 16.5 inches. So it's kind of big. The black background was a funny pain to do.

This is incredible. Especially the soft glow on his shoulders and forearms. Great reflictive light on the face too. Guitars are sooo hard to draw. Impressed.
