I wouldn't say it's better unless you plan on drawing actual comics since that's what it's designed for. I'd say PS has way more flexibility. I personally struggle inking since my hand jitters and the pen tool in PS doesn't behave quite like the one in Illustrator. Manga Studio inking mildly adjust strokes to smooth unwanted jitters which I appreciate.

Though now I guess I am old enough that I could start buying them... I used to have the first one- Signed by Wendi Pini! I met her at an anime con- but none of the rest.
