The reason Vivi looks so feminine is because of his twin sister(who died thanks to certain ant jerk), he somewhat fused their souls with Rozen's help and took the form of their sister, which results into making their gender ambiguous now(they're literally like the Tamamonomae of Hollow Knight mixed with abit of Lady Muzan- and they are a little evil sshuusshhh >v>)
But despite their appearance, they're alot more stronger than most of the bugs encountered, having the status of a Higher Being. Besides the omnipotence, he possesses a fierce subconscious loyalty to his family, especially to his daughter and is completely unable to bring himself to harm them.
Usually Vivi goes on a killing spree outside of Hallownest not to consolidate more power, but to stave off boredom and probably to let out his anger on the unknown killer who took away the lives of his two loved ones, his sister Diana, and his wife Miriam.
There are times he would relax(at least) and it's to spend time with his daughter in their hidden grove in Greenpath.
Viridiana combined his name after he fused his soul with his sister, originally, his birth name was Vincit while his sister's was Diana.
It is derived from "Vincit Omnia Veritas", meaning "Truth conquers all things.", it is also foreshadowing as he is still searching for the murderer of his wife and sister, but causing countless disasters in his path.
Fortunately, they go easy on Little Ghost upon their first encounter in Greenpath, they don't want to be disturbed and usually brushes off the little vessel iife they stayed too long in their cottage.
