Description
So heres a quick mock up of Queen Chrysalis. I really messed up the wings by being too excited to try out the clear resin and mixed it like a spaz so theres roughly a billion bubbles in them, but I have a vacuum chamber set up to pull all the air out, so the ones after this will have clear blue tinted wings.
She stands 9.75 inches (21cm) from front hoof to the top of her horn. Shes pretty big.Β
Chrysalis, Luna (S2) and Cadance will all be $180 each.
I will post Luna later tomorrow.

Those dots are bubbles? I actually thought it was glitter before reading the description and it looks quite nice...
Either way! She looks wonderful. You have some serious talent.
I could never afford something like this; but if by some miracle I win the lottery, you'll be getting a lot of orders from me. Heh.
I can dream...

BUBBLES!? I thought those were glitter in there to give her wings a shimmery look. xD

I thought the bubbles were glitters, too! I like how they look to be honest.
And holy shit, does this look professional! Congrats, you've probably reached the peak of MLP:FiM sculpting.

Okay I am genuinely curious how you dealt with her holes in the mould. Plugs partway through then dremel/sand out the rest of it?
In any case, she looks stunning! Perfectly on-model, her paint job is beautiful, and honestly the bubbles in the resin add a really nice sparkle-like touch xD

Personally, I think the bubbly, rough wings work better. Changelings' true forms aren't exactly the prettiest-looking things, after all.

She is stunning!
You could try to make the wings with a flexible resin, maybe it will look nice and not so fragile?
And the appearance of the bubbles is also interesting, you should put some glitter in! Will became amazing

Although I kinda' dig the effect the accidental bubbles have, what does that do to the structural integrity of the wings?
Other than that, this came out really badass! = )

Beautiful!Β
I'll second the idea that I actually kind of like the bubbles.
Gives her wings a bit of a sparkly look.
Still looking forward to seeing the finished version, too!

Niiiiice. Despite the wings, that's a pretty fine looking changeling queen you got going on. Keep at it, you'll get the technique down like you've done before!

This is not a massed produced piece of plastic you can buy at any local WalMart. This took TIME and SKILL to produce. Not to mention the supplies it cost to make this. Something hand made with its limited availability makes the price extremely fair.

She's the best be I've seen so far. As for the bubbles, they simply look like glitter in her wings. It seems fitting for her in my opinion.
