Shapeshifting:


Users can shapeshift, changing their form and appearing at will, maybe even transforming and reshaping themselves down to their genetic and cellular structure. They can impersonate others or enhance their own body for combat, either by turning into animals, humanoids, monsters, etc., or by making their body stronger.


• User with particularly flexible abilities can manipulate their form at will, combining abilities, traits, etc., even being able to form limbs into weapons and reform after being blown apart by explosives.

• Some more experienced users can even manipulate their DNA and completely change it on a molecular level.

• Due to shapeshifters favoring certain forms for certain activities (e.g. bird-flying, fish-swimming), shapeshifters may be trapped and contained in places where only certain forms are feasible.

• May revert back to original form when unconscious or asleep.

• May require visual or genetic source material for a copy to be made.

• May be limited on how long transformation can last.

• May be unable to add/reduce mass, thus maintaining the physical capabilities of its original form.

• May have to stay near their own size.

• Such shape that cannot be altered includes genetic coding (gender, hair color, blood type), physical appearance (such as a girl cannot change her facial or body structure to resemble another girl's, and while she can change into a cat her fur pattern is based on her own form) and design (such as the girl changing her body into a sword but cannot customize its design for decorative effects).

• This may not include the user's age, as it is an aspect of their original form.

Users of Shapeshifting Awareness will see their real forms.

• Users of Shapeshifting Negation may forcefully revert the user to their real form.

• Users of Mind Reading may read the user's minds and know who they truly are.

• If the user dies while standing in the form of the person or creature he is taking, he eventually returns to his original appearance.

• The process may be painful.

• May be involuntary; the user has no control over their transformations.

• Unless the user can absorb/modify their clothing during the transformation, they have to deal with it afterward.

• Clothing may be damaged during transformation unless it is part of the wearer's body or made of durable material.

• Some may have to touch a certain body part.


Night Vision:


The user has excellent night vision, and the ability to see in low light conditions or even total darkness. Whether by biological or technological means, night vision is made possible by a combination of two approaches: sufficient spectral range, and sufficient intensity range.


• May be sensitive to sudden flashes or bright light.

• Might take some time for the eyes to re-adapt to regular light.

• May not be able to see through or in complete darkness/Absolute Darkness (pitch black), unless users can adapt to it on an absolute scale.

• May cause eyes to glow/reflect light.

Healing:


The users can Heal themselves and restore biotic organisms to their optimal health, curing damaged or withered organisms, wounds, broken bones, low vitality, and diseases/poisoning. Though the user may potentially heal any form of bodily damage, the patient must be alive, even if hanging by a thin thread, in order to be healed; once the patient has died, it would transcend healing and would require resurrection instead.


• Healing Immunity

• Healing Impairment makes healing dangerous for the target.

• Useless against Irreversible Destruction.

• Semi-useless against Survivability Reduction.

• Can’t raise the dead, but as long as there's even a hint of life left, healing is possible.

• Healing may not be permanent.

• May be limited to healing either oneself or others.

• May only be able to heal non-fatal wounds.

• May have a limited range, including touch only.

• May need direct body-to-body contact (possibly naked "for better skin contact"), various kinds of blood or power transfers through kissing/licking, a Magic Kiss with healing properties, and so forth.

• May be limited to healing only certain types of wounds or diseases.

• May not work on permanent injuries or abnormal injuries that cannot be treated.

• May not occur automatically, thus preventing the users from healing injuries by reflex.

• May be painful for the recipient of the healing.

• Certain methods may require delicate control when healing, otherwise, it may cause cellular damage.

• May cause the healer's body to deteriorate.

• Distance, mass, precision, etc. depend upon the knowledge, skill, and strength of the user and their power's natural limits.


Camouflage:


The user can visually blend into surroundings by blending in with the coloration and form of their background to avoid optical perception. Some users can affect their attire by means of "static camouflage". Similar to Invisibility, camouflage sometimes involves people turning invisible but with limitations. Some animals can naturally blend into an environment thanks to their skin color. Common effects are the user as well as what they are wearing/carrying is able to stay camouflaged while moving, the user will not cast a shadow as a result of bending light. Often associated with a shimmer or ripple effect when moving that can be spotted by the trained eye. The user is also able to camouflage while staying still by changing the color and texture of their skin and/or clothing. Whether or not the user's clothing changes with them varies from user to user. The user may still cast a shadow.


• Must be able to have similar colors as the location one is at.

• Users of Enhanced Senses can detect the users.

• May be limited to visible light.

• May still cast a shadow.

• May have to stay still.


Infinite Digestive System:


User can eat/digest anything and all forms of matter, regardless of size/shape, without harming their stomach, mouth, or digestive system. Some users are also capable of storing matter within their bodies and spitting it back out when the moment calls for it.


• If extremely gluttony, they may want to eat themselves.

• May become gluttonous.

• May still be able to gain weight.

• May be unable to spit items out after digestion.

• May still be able to be harmed from the inside by the use of other abilities and/or living beings.


Insect Manipulation:


Users can control various insects. They control them to do their bidding, for example, helping them during situations, using them against foes, and using them to see locations and gather information about a particular place. Some can see through the insects' eyes that are controlled allowing them to spy on others. Users can also understand or communicate with them, hence creating and strengthening friendships.


• May be limited to only certain types of insects.

• Some can only control the insects they create or summon.

• Range may be limited.

• Depends on the environment.


Elasticity:


Users are or can become extremely malleable and elastic, allowing them to stretch, flatten, deform, expand, and contract their whole body, including limbs, torso, neck, etc. They can control how elastic/flexible they or parts of them are, allowing them to change their bodies into various tools or other constructs.


They are extremely hard to wound or hurt due to their body reflexively absorbing damage by stretching with attacks but may still feel pain.


• May have a limit on how far they can stretch.

• May have to use kinetic force, such as punching or kicking, or even getting punched or kicked, in order to stretch.

• May be more vulnerable against piercing or cutting attacks.

• Coldness can stiffen the elasticity. Much like how rubber breaks when it's frozen, the same principle would happen to Elastic people if they tried to stretch in cold/freezing temperatures unless the user has Elasticity Defiance.


Anatomical Liberation:


User can split their own body apart into pieces and control said pieces however they wish, by levitating them away from the user's main body and using them as they were connected to the user.


User is immune to cutting and being slashed because they can just pull their bodies back together again. They can also remove their own organs without dying and will neither bleed to death nor die if their brain or heart is removed.


• The user may die if their brain or heart is destroyed.

• May not be able to levitate body parts, so they are limited to moving on the ground.

• If a limb is lost or destroyed a new one may not grow back in its place.

• Limbs may possess a mind of their own.

• Users may only be able to remove and/or reattach specific body parts.


Possession:


User can inhabit or take over the body of other beings, whether sentient or not, by stealing their motor functions and senses. Users have to leave their own bodies for this to take place. Disembodied users such as spirits may use the body as their own. A powerful enough user may not even be limited to inhabiting other entities, but inanimate objects, structures, or environments as well.


• May be cast out of the host through Exorcism.

• Users of Indomitable Will are either resistant or immune.

• Cannot possess those with Possession Immunity or Control Immunity.

• Overtaken host may be able to fight back for their body.

• Can be banished/purified through Omni Purification

• May need to focus on returning to the original body.

• May be overpowered by the host, placing the inhabitant in a sleep-like state.

• May have to touch the target for a transfer to be made.

• May only work with one body at a time for new users.

• May only be able to use another's body with the host's permission.

• Can be banished through Purification.

May need to switch bodies often in order to preserve their life.

• May die if the host is killed.

• The user's presence may cause damage to the host (sheer power, physiology rejection, etc.).

• May kill the host in the process by "crushing" them from the inside.

• The inhabitant's actual body may be vulnerable to attack and the inhabitant may die or become trapped in the host if the possessor's body is damaged/destroyed beyond repair.

• May not have control over the host body, but simply influence the host with Mind Control.

Weakness: unforgiving, whiny, overly dramatic, liar, sadistic, lazy, short-tempered, and restless


Backstory:


It's optimistic, creative, steadfast, and perhaps a little too restless. This isn't surprising considering for someone with its position.


It's was born and grew up in a lower-class family in a poor city, It lived free of trouble until he was about 10 years old, but at that point, life began to change.


It was forced into a cult ritual involving a bottle of many bugs/insects, a set of strange symbols, and the blood and heart of someone who died tragically. With a loyal friend, he had to survive in a mad world. But with its skills and persistence, it managed to keep ahead of the curve and reach its full potential. This has turned it into the person it is today.


With newfound pride and some happiness, it now works as a mercenary for the king. By doing so, it hopes to support a new, honest life and finally find the joys and comforts of life it has never had.
