Rhinoceros ice age Rulon unit.. patrolling.. ready for combat..

As the ice age progressed the Valorian seemed to adapt better to the cold environment and to "use" mammals for the Valorian armys... Rulons were initially delayed,.. using mind control helmets like the ones they used in dinosaurs it didn´t seem to be enough.... they operated aggressively the bodies and minds of the animals, already advanced on that, it was just a matter of time they improve the harness, weapons and technology applied on their saddles.

When the DinoRiders toy line was losing momentum at the end of the 1980´s, TYCO release the last series, Series 4 was name it ICE AGE, but only the Valorians (DinoRiders "good guys") get units... the Mammoth, the Smilodon or Saber Thooth, The Warthog (some form or subspecie of Entelodont) and the Giant Sloth.... (i will upload more deviations of those later)

For many years i wait.... also for acuatic units, marine reptiles and such... but the line was canceled....

Then, McFarlane appears in the late 1990´s and early 2000´s (not sure) with a very strange and obscure line of cybernetic animals,... Techno Spawn, If i remember correctly they were a Gorilla, Ostrich, Crocodile, Wild Pig and Rhinoceros... The first i get was the Crocodile, and i was impressed, deviaitons of that figure here:

I took that figure as Rulon acuatic unit...

I let pass the Gorilla and the Ostrich, i didn´t like their design, and keep the Rhinoceros, Wild pig and the Crocodile, i will upload more pictures of the Rhinoceros later... i take the three as ICE AGE Rulon units, the units they were waiting.

The Rhinoceros in this deviation was part of the Techno Spawn figure line and they were made it by Mcfarlane toys, for the scale with the Rulon figure it would be some kind of mutant Rhinoceros or Woolly rhino but without the hair.
