I don't like the weepy Sherlock angst that is dominating fandom these days as sobbing fangirls wail into the computer for their Benedict to return--but I was rather moved by this comic--I think it was the panel of John all alone in an empty bed, missing the sound of Sherlock playing his violin to help him sleep, as he often, very thoughtfully did---that did it for me--the loneliness that haunts and aches rather than sobs--Sherlock will return but he hardly deserve's John's forgiveness for putting him through this hell. Lovely work.
