Just a small, different take on Invader Zim...more flowy...like Japanese manga. Not American manga. Some of those American mangas aren't at all flowy. Okay, so I guess it's a shoujo-ish manga style...blargh.
If I didn't have to color my doujinshi, I'd so be all on the manga style like...white on rice.Psst...got more IZ comin...

Yes...I take it personally when Dib is compared to Harry Potter. No-no. No-no. That means I have been doing a terrible job at drawing Dib.

You know what? I am not going to say that Dib looks like Harry Potter, just because it hurts your feelings (I would comfort you anyway, though.
ZIM looks... serious... and good looking... yes... yum. His hair is so incredibly shiny, and I'm a sucker to anything shiny. ;B I love all the other characters, too, but ZIM has always been my favorite from the show, with Dib being a close second. Dib is very appealing as well, or maybe it's because I absolutely adore boys with glasses? Anyway, he has the face of a normal kid, but his expression shows that he knows something they don't, which is perfect for his character. TAK... I'm not so sure why, but her hand pose and eyes scream "mature, sneaky destroyer", which we all know is TAK. Is that why you drew her so close to ZIM? Gaz looks the youngest, from hair to eyes to body, which is biologically correct if we're going by the show's character ages.
Now I'm going to comment on your assumed/revealed shoujo style. Even though it has the fluid, flowy feel of a delicate manga, the image also displays shounen chracteristics as well, hair especially. Since, or I am pretty sure, that at the time, "Invader ZIM" was targeted for boys, so having a shounen touch adds to the girly style very nicely. Also when you said your style was more "anime-ish" (
