Aww! He almost reminds me of a furry raptor. I like how his stance gives him the appearance that he can walk on two legs and four legs.

Thank you and thanks for the fave! His design was heavily influenced by carnivorous dinosaurs, yes.

You're welcome. I've always had a fondness for prehistoric creatures, and the fantasy ones are no exception.

I like the head area!
does it walk on all 4? cause the front limbs are kinda long.

Thanks!
Larns normally walk on just their hind legs, with their forelimbs kinda folded up raptor-style. However, they can walk on all-fours when they are wading through a rapid current in a stream, for example (especially if they are feeling along the bottom of the stream for food).

I see, it does look capable of walking both ways, but the anatomy is slightly off. if you're going to re-draw it sometimes, I suggest you search those animated 3D reconstructions of T-rex and similar dinosaurs.

In what way does it look off?

I think it's mainly the way its back/neck/tail are held.
here's a pic of a biped dinosaur: [link]
and this is an Iguanodon, which is both biped and quadruped: [link]
I hope this helps ^^

Well, I also didn't want Chake to look identical to dinosaurs skeletally. So I imagine there would be some differences. I like the idea of Chake being able to hold his neck and head up high like Gallimimus (even though he is proportioned more like Deinonychus).
The long arms are also partly that way for anthropomorphic reasons; I'd like Chake to be able to reach his face for a "facepalm" or to cover his head in shame when the occasion calls for it. There is also some wolf influence in his design (shape of the paws, for example).

Oh yeah, I see some differences. ^_^
Still think he, Uverjid and Krol are gonna be great friends. ^_^
Hmm.... Do you say his name like 'Chah-kay' like Japanese or "Chake" as in 'Cake'?
