The point is that the British salute is palm outwards, whereas the US one has the palm down. It's just an incredibly inaccurate attempt at a cosplay by someone who has some really good work.

I'm British and I'm currently wearing boxers with a US flag, and I don't own anything with a UK flag. Jeez, maybe she's visiting McCree and trying to cringe him out with how touristy she looks. How does her wearing a US flag affect her nationality, or imply the cosplayers doesn't know she's British?
