A Lego Chess set of my own design. I wasn't happy with the official Lego Chess set of 2012 so I made my own!
The squares have been made larger so as to accommodate actual horses for the Knights. The 'White' pieces (Lion Knights) are all right-handed and the 'Black' pieces (Dragon Knights) are all left-handed due to the ancient belief that left-handed people were evil - hence the original term for left-handed people, sinister. I also made sure that no two faces used are the same!
The castle wall that borders the chess board is removable - I plan to create chess pieces for other themes in future.

This is just waaay too cool. Each piece is distinctive, and your attention to detail with weapons and whatnot is commendable. Much better than the official set, agreed.
I think I would have preferred to see the set mid-game, though, just to see swords clashing and whatnot. But that's just personal preference.
