Its a great feeling when a band that never lived up to its potential figures they have nothing to lose and reinvents its-self and shows effort. Theres allot of bands that only broke into the music business
cuz their heros inspired them. Then, the manager, producer and agent ruined them to make them money-making quick-to-please rock for chat topping which made them a joke. They just became a temporary flavor of the month

I am Whitesnake had "Here I Go Again" which put them over but that was in 1987 and '88. "Is This Love" and "Still Of the Night" were big hits but "Gimme All Your Love" was less of a Hit. "Slip of the Tongue" was a lesser success but did have "Deeper the Love" which was a huge hit. "Slip of the Tongue" had Steve Vai on guitar! Whitesnake was the band David Coverdale created after he left (or fired from) Deep Purple. Whitesnake was bluesrock at first
