Not just because of how cool it is, with the multiple characters and upgrades, but also because i can't believe this game, with the insane amount of bullets on-screen, hardly has lag.

In Imperishable Night The 8th Installment of the Touhou series (which COULD be an influence for this EBF installment) The writer of the game, ZUN, describes the highest difficulty setting "Lunatic" as a joke and also writes as a footnote "Play this difficulty setting when you're drunk"

I also found that the Giant Crab was easier (to me) than the Slime Fortress. All I have left to do now is max out all my stuff and get all S ranks!

this is looking very good so far, I miss the player stats and background info. to tell you, overall, the controls look great, the game play is smooth and concise, and the quality is spot on! you could touch up the boss battles though couldn't tell when it was gonna die. Also, Natalie's sub weapon somehow acts like Matt's Subweapon. I'm thinking magical homing energy balls or something similiar to Giant magic homing energy bomb. I don't know. I would recommend you studying the game play and the enemy movements of the flash game Raiden X. its a good game although you may have already played it. heres some things to put in the protips.
Short bursts of the main weapon helps out taking individual and grouped enemies.
Trying to dodge bullets? use the autofire button so you can concentrate on dodging!
Hold the Focus button to focus on avoiding those bullets!
The higher your weapon level, the faster it charges, and the faster the firing rate.
the shield item is valuable, it can reflect enemy bullets.
Its all in the timing when using lance's sub weapon.
There are certain levels that give you more cash than others.
Autofire button is also great for boss battles. gotta survive 'n shoot!
certain fighters are suitable for certain levels.

Dunno... It'd be cool, but I don't think that the EBF series has enough charas for a fighting game: Matt, Natalie, Lance, now Anna and maybe NoLegs... unless ~kupo707 brings back his older/other OCs
