I feel trappedsometimes
like i'm losing a hold of myself
like everything that made me
is slowly being stripped away
being replaced with something
i can't even recognize
can't relate to
can't justify to myself
and i live
for a break from this monotomy
from break
to break
so to speak
from anticipation
to the afterglow i relish alone
soft sobs in between
to not raise alarm
because they don't really mean
a fucking thing
just a dark cloud
that must be shed
once in a while
