I've been all things serious with the BH6/MM crossover, I've been thinking of adding some levity moments to not making it all serious and hunting down Proto Man. While studying, I saw that Hiro's other female friend Megan Cruz likes the game of chess. And it gave me an idea. She's helping BH6 in tracking down Proto Man plus also trying to find the robot masters who are committing crimes. Mega Man sees and walks over to a chess game in progress and makes a move. Megan catches it, and is amazed Mega Man knows about it. He explains Dr. Light taught him and they played a game or two.Megan sets up another chess board and challenges Mega Man to a game. Mega Man beats her in 23 moves!
Megan is surprised. Mega Man feels a little upset and thinks he should have taken it easy on her. But on the contrary, Megan geeks out. And asks if they can play again. Mega Man confused at first, agrees.
Throughout the tale, Mega Man and Megan have numerous games. Again, it's for levity and I'm a bit of a chess fan. Plus, I'm thinking of doing an homage to Blade Runner when Mega Man makes a move, Megan corrects him, saying it won't work.
While out on patrol, Mega Man uses descriptive notation when making moves.
