Haha When Death Note first started out, Ohba didn't specify anywhere how the names should be translated, so the scanlators assumed it was Raito because that's how the japanese was read. But, later Ohba posted that picture with all the characters and their names underneath and, whoops, it was really Light, haha. But, by the point, I had already been reading Death Note for months and didn't like the name Light, so me, as well as others still call him that. Plus, when you say it aloud, Light and Raito sound the same with a Japanese accent. XD;
