Description
This is really beyond late. I had planned this around the time Wikipedia had protested against SOPA and PIPA, but a lot of work and other art projects came first.

Another concept I thought of would be if Apple hosted the entire system, but individual companies or websites had their own server, like a small solar system in a greater galaxy. This would be Wikipedia's.

The big whale would be Jim Wales, founder of Wikimedia, and the whale is obviously a pun to his name. The girl is the Wikipedia anime character that's there on several pages, mostly associated with anime and manga. I redesigned her just a bit so she doesn't look as much as a kid as the original was intended to. Again, my internet avatar Draco Melody is here.

Stations are based on Wikimedia affiliates. The general design was based on the theme of a library, with flying books and a dictionary floating above the Wikipedia CPU(with a little nod to the SOPA and PIPA protest). Some of the design was also based on this :[link] I found out that a way to make it more like a virtual setting is to outline the characters in red. That worked out quite well This took a long time.
