Most of Spiricats are very shy and often go away whenever an unknown Pokemon or a human comes. That's why we mostly find them in underwater caves. However, most of the Spiricat species also seem to like to stay on human boats, even though they stay indoors. Spiricat can also swim really fast thanks to her fin-arms and fish tail. She can even possess some enemies for a short period of time. She can learn moves like Bubble Beam or Confuse Ray. Her name is a contraction of "Spirit" and "Cat".

The second form is Haunmaid. Her fin-arms are now sharper, and one of them can even be used by her like a sword. There's also a black hole in her torso, that allows her to possess enemies that are faraway, and keeping them possessed for a way longer period of time. There's also a weird-looking eye on her forehead. It allows her to use some new Psychic-type and Ghost-type moves. She trains in possessing by staying on boats in harbors and possessing some tourists (mostly children). But this agressivity actually reveals her deep sadness, as she's originally a drowned Meowth and remembers her past life. She can learn moves like Water Pulse or Confusion. Her name is a contraction of "Haunted" and "Mermaid".

The final form is Nekorla. Her eyes with red dots can often scare away even powerful enemies. To possess people who harm her as a vengeance, she goes on boats and raises the flag on her head, while she also waves her hand to them. Hypnotized hy the flag, they wave their hand too, as this hypno actually makes every worry about this boat go away from their hand. Then, she will possess them, and they will slowly fall into insanity. However, she is always very loyal to a Trainer who truly loves her, and she will do everything in her power to protect him. She has two tails, that have mouths with very sharp teeth. Her mermaid tail now became an eel tail, that allows her to swim even faster. She can learn moves like Surf or Shadow Ball.
