Description
Finally finished him. A commission from my sisters friend who loves Legolas from the LOTR movies. Had a LOT of fun painting this one.Watercolor, original is A3 size.

I came here with a Legolas search, and I must say, that this pic really rocks! I am quite amazed at the nature painting, these colurs are so clear and vibrant, and theer is a good sense of depth in the painting, and I allmost can't believe it is watercolour. Very good, the waterfalls and the texture on the jacket is amazing, one can really feel the suede fabric.

You know, I'm usually not into Legolas because people have a bad habbit of making him into this willowy thing that almost looks like a woman. So thanks on making him look like the elven fighter that he actually is. I love the way you framed him with a sperate backgroung.

I love the background especially, but I am very impressed by the characters face. I have always found it very difficult to draw faces (especially recognizable ones) and I am in awe of those who can draw like that.
