Discarded as an egg shortly after it was discovered that she was Toxic aligned, Asmo has always lived life as an outcast never really finding any acceptance, tolerance or belonging wherever she went. It wasn't all that bad he'd say, he very fortunately found a loving home with his parents who were unable to bear a child and loved him as their own although, there was always a sort of disconnect between them no matter how hard Asmo tried to ignore it or look past it. It definitely could have been worse, though. Many Tainted aren't as fortunate as them and are often openly ostracized and abused, or worse.

At one point, Asmo began working as a bartender at their local tavern, finding the practice of mixing drinks together as well as the casual small talk with customers rather enjoyable. It found that they enjoyed this because people were just there to drink, have fun or do whatever else they do when the alcohol gets to their heads Asmo didn't mind (with exceptions for the more physically aggressive). Still, despite this, days still blurred together as nothing Asmo would claim to be of note happened to it, so it started to talk more walks before and after work aimlessly, trying to search for... something.

It wasn’t until he met Chandler, someone who would become very close friends with, that Asmo would start to truly feel a sense of belonging and acceptance. Honestly speaking, if you asked Asmo how exactly the conversation went leading up to Chandler offering xem to join the Heartfelt Troupe, xey would just laugh and say xey don’t really remember - just that the conversation eventually became about xir’s history and joining sounded better than whatever xey were currently doing with xir life. Asmo honestly didn’t expect to like it there as much as it did, but it’d never imagine leaving now that it’s found a place and people to call home. Alienation and loneliness still chews at the back of Asmo’s mind once in a while, but the feelings are typically quickly discarded in favor of simply spending time with her friends.

Asmodai is known to be friendly and inviting, always up to strike up a conversation about just about anything with anyone who’s willing to have a conversation with him. Perhaps even a bit too chatty, Asmodai will keep talking on and on until others physically leave or directly tell her to stop. They’ve many, many stories to tell - primarily from their time as a bartender, so naturally Asmo is quite privy to gossip as well and enjoys indulging in a little gossip talk once in a while too. Well, maybe a little more than once in a while. Old habits die hard, you know? As well as being friendly, Asmo’s also rather physically affectionate with everyone unless they visibly look uncomfortable. That isn’t to say they’re all over everyone, they aren’t that clingy, but they have a tendency to lean on others’ shoulders with their arm, have a hand on someone’s shoulder and the like. Small things, mostly. Unprompted hugs are usually only ever reserved for those she’s familiar with and while playing with children.

Speaking of old habits… Asmo is very, very slow to anger - at least visibly. Annoyed, frustrated or upset at most perhaps but almost never outward anger. Asmo used to be a little more temperamental as a child but perhaps as a result of being of a tainted alignment, he quickly learned to stay composed and well mannered. Being an angry or hostile Kwillian of a tainted alignment isn’t exactly a good look or doing him any favors, now is it? Asking about that, or Asmo’s history, will just earn you a shrug and an elaboration if you want it. She claims doesn’t think it’s that big of a deal or a concern to him anymore. After all, what right does Asmo have to complain about her history when others have had it so much worse? Asmo would rather eat glass and die than admit to still feeling lonely, though. Oh well, nothing like a good drink with a buddy to ease the mind, right? Asmo wouldn’t be himself if he didn’t love drinking and it’s not rare to find him a little tipsy while chattering away. It’s not quite the point of it being a problem, though (yet?).
