That would be okay if you made a couple of changes. For one, Eevee, Jolteon, Flareon, and Vaporeon are all from the same generation, so you could only pick one, and if I were you I'd pick my favorite. If you wanted to do the eevolution, try picking your favorites from the first through the sixth generation.

Ok... so if I understand the numbering in the Pokedex correctly, here is the correct team:
Flareon (Gen 1)
Glaceon (Gen 4)

Sinnoh: Abomasnow <- status effect, decent damage
Unova: Krookodile <- powerhouse, finisher
Kalos: Aegislash <- 'cause SWORDS, biotch!

Hmmmmmmm lets see here
Gen1: Nidoking; Name: Bastion; Desc.: One of the first pokemon Toren has ever caught he's been on the team longest and is major veteran battler. While he may seem intimidating with all the scars he has and his slightly grumpy attitude he's a real nice guy at heart. He enjoys battling and it isn't rare to see him sparing with another member of the team. Usually the target of Lucifer and Donny's shenanigans he puts up with them to a point before chasing after them in rage. Β
Gen2: Houndoom; Name: Lucifer; Desc.: During his run through Jhoto Toren found the rambunctious Houndoom causing all sorts of trouble in Goldenrod city as a Houndour. From stealing meat from the deli to annoying the fire department by setting random things on fire he was a regular trouble maker. Toren caught him after he tried to steal his lunch and he became a staple team member ever since then. He still loves causing mischief though with his partner in crime Donny bothering Bastion whenever they can. Β
Gen3: Swampert; Name: Taki; Desc.: Toren's starter that he received from his run through the Hoenn region. She's very nice and is usually the one who breaks up squabbles in the team (usually with Bastion's help). She's not afraid to quote "knock some heads together to break up a fight between idiots" which she says with a cheerful smile. She's the defensive wall of the team able to take hits and dish out damage back in kind. It appears that she may have a thing for Bastion but him and her deny it. Her favorite strategy is to wait for an opponent to come in and then grab them and slam them into the ground with earthquake. Β
Gen4: Honchkrow; Name: Donny; Desc.: Toren's main transport and answer to fighting types Donny is one of team's major power houses (also due to the fact that he has the moxie ability). Born to be a mischief maker he was causing all sorts of trouble around Veilstone city as a Murkrow. His favorite thing to do was scare people on their way to the nearby cemetery, but it didn't work so well when he tried to scare Toren. He and Lucifer quickly became fast friends over their love for causing mischief, and when he became a Honchkrow his scare tactics became even better. Β Β
Gen5: Hydreigon; Name Hakai; Desc.: Received as an egg for the daycare couple in Unova after dealing with a bunch Team Plazma that were threatening them. She hatched out of the egg in Nacarene city and instanly bonded with Toren. She thinks that Toren is her dad and is very protective of him going so far as nearly killing a group of Plazma who knocked him out. She's very nice and caring outside of battle, but utterly ruthless during it. When Toren needs a strong heavy hitter Hakai is his answer and he's not afraid to use her despite her cruel nature in battle. Β
Gen6: Aegislash; Name: Joan; Desc.: The most recent addition to the team she prefers to stay out of her ball and ride on Toren's back. Being new and the fact that she keeps to herself, she hasn't made too many friends on the team yet. Toren found her while outside of Parfum Palace she isntantly latched on to his arm and wouldn't let go yet she made no attempts to drain his life force. when asked why she joined the team she simply says "because Toren is the trainer that I was meant to choose". She usually is found being chatted up by Hakai and they're both slowly becoming friends. She's another defensive attacking wall and is an expert at blocking at the right time with king's shield. Β Β

Actually I was so excited when gen 6 came out cuz this is what I always WANTED to do Β I hate having multiple types on a team (even if it's a legit flying and a bug that has flying type it never really utilizes...never liked that I had both Salamence and Ninjask on my sapphire team but I loved them both so couldn't part with either). Β And it's just more fun when the team is extremely diverse. Β

Question. For Pokemon who got evolutions in the fourth generation, does that still count as the previous generation if we have their evolved form? Ex: Togepi, Sneasel, etc.

Yep! In fact, its very far from it LOL
Dusknoir64 could clearly be a Gym Leader or Elite Four that use Ghost type in Pokemon World.
In fact, I prefer those who pick their favorites Pokemon rather then a good competitive team... but that's just me

That's true. Speaking of Gyms, Nintendo, when's Dark type getting a go?
I go for my favourites too, but I'd want a balance of types. I'm not saying 'Low tier, must hate', just that if someone had some Dark types he'd be in trouble.
