Description
So recently many people said Zach's outfit, which I drew back in 2011 [link] , looks like Korra's...by a little....because of this, I drew those two swapping clothes.
But due to Zach's personality, he probably won't be in any love quadrangles. Also the rest of the Nuzcast don't really match the Korra team.

Having Korra there was just a matter of comparison. If she's there, I'd think it'd be some sort of alternate universe thing going on rather than Korra watching Zack the next Avatar.
Then again, the Fire Nation made a systematic genocide against the Southern Water Tribe's waterbenders in pursuit for wiping out the next incarnation of the Avatar. By the time many members of the White Lotus were together as they were, most (if not all) SWT waterbenders were either killed or still held captive. The only place to look for the next Avatar was the Northern Water Tribe.
Then again, this is just coming from someone who doesn't have a lot of access to anything outside the original series.

The Northern waterbenders went to the Southern water tribe though and helped repopulate the Southern water tribe's waterbender population.
And your alternate theory thing does make sense.

Even though my theory was defeated (since, by mixing the northern and southern water tribes, it won't make sense for my version of the cycle to exist), I'm just glad that it made sense.

Not necessarily. The people who migrated from the Northern Water tribe (if I'm correct) had Southern roots for one reason or another (family, friends, spouses, etc. (Katara's grandfather said they had to "it's about time we got into contact with our sister tribe again")) so they identified themselves as Southern water tribe members or messengers from the Northern water tribe.
