My trainer avatar thingy (NOT NUZLOCKE) with the starters I picked.
The Fennekin's name is Jackie, and he's Modest Nature while being a little quick tempered. The squirtle's name is Donnel, and he's Calm nature and is capable of taking hits.
I will draw my final E4 team later~

Chespin's second form I don't care for, looks like someone stuck a tire pump in its mouth and comically inflated him looney toons style. His final form is pretty badass through.

I think Spiky Shield is exclusive to the Chespin line, whilst King's Shield exclusive to Aegislash. They're both new in Gen 6.
So most will be sticking with Protect anyway, being a TM move (I think it still is).

Only Ghost and the occasional Fire-type learn it by level up, and they would be dangerous to Aegislash anyhow, but by TM you can get Poisons, Psychics, Darks, and I don't even know about anything in Gen 6 bar Delphox because Bulbapedia didn't update.
And that's not even mentioning Arceus learning it...

wasn't meaning that it was exclusive just that not many pokes know it much less use it. (players anyway) and only a few other moves can "Break" protect like moves.
