Happy Mother’s Day! I think it’s a real shame that the sequel never bothered to explore the mother-daughter relationship (or even Nala’s character in general) of these two. I know Kiara was portrayed as being a daddy’s girl but I think she would also be very close to her mother. Nala seems to be the parent who has the most faith in her daughter’s abilities and is more open to letting her live her own life, after all.
