WARNING - Massive ImageSince it looks like the MMO won't be able to keep going, I might aswell post this.
This is the latest list of the pokemon that were gonna be in the region of Atlas. I say latest - but looking at it now I can already see I forgot some.
Hopefully this will show the amazing variety we were planning on having, with different kinds and types not just limited to one bird pokemon etc. This means you have a massive choice, taking into account the different element types and stats like speed, defence, etc.
MANY thanks to all the amazing creators who helped contribute to this project.
I'm not completely giving up, hopefully my programmer will reappear and give me the game so I can try to keep going some other way.
Also keep in mind some sprites are like 2 years old and would look a lot better in the final version, I no longer use that shadow/outline when spriting.

One thing. Some seem a bit...boring. Or too much like a basic animal rather than a pokemon. You get what I'm saying? I dunno. But the spritework is fantastic nonetheless! Nice variety. I can see now what you were talking about. And if I may ask, how many more starters will there be to choose from?

yeah I get what you mean, most of all its just a variety thing though. There's a lot that seem a bit simple or like a basic animal, but there's a lot that don't either that just aren't on there right now.
Lots of different designers means there's lots of variety. A big part of the designers have a simpler style - influenced by the first generation of pokemon. The important thing is that there's enough different kinds there for all kinds of people to like.
There should be 3 sets of starters. There's also "pseudo-starters" which are basically starters other people made but I removed the last evolution and put them in the wild.

Thank you! He does have evos that have been designed I just haven't sprited or drawn any proper pictures yet. Thanks for the advice, I will definitely be doing that.

I could tell that this game was going to be my new addiction from the moment i saw those awesome ideas through the medium of pixels it's frustrating to hear the your programmer went poof. i hope his reply is a good one. I hope this great game doesn't fade into futility because so many hours went into it. good luck :3

I know how hard you worked on this. Seriously, your sprite counts dwarf mine. I'm not sure people realize that in addition to making 90% of these, you did all the tiles plus interface. It's a huge shame that he vanished. I think I've come to distrust programmers considering our history with them. D:

Shouldn't give this up. Definitely. These sprites are waaaaay to awesome not to showcase in the game. I hope that your programmer reappears! You have no idea how stoked I was to play the MMO. xD
Anyway, I absolutely love the Pokemon. There are sooo many that I would definitely catch, and if they were real Pokemon, possibly have them on my teams. xD
