And once again, Fennekin is the most popular xDIt's really weird playing with new pokemon before the game is out!
Ok this has gotten really popular but I just want to clarify that THIS IS A FANGAME!
These are not screenshots of Pokemon X / Y. It's my own fangame, which is an mmo game (massive multiplayer online). These are screenshots of Route A1 in my fan-made region called Atlas, which has over 200 new pokemon in it. There is no planned release date yet but we're working on it every day and hopefully will release it some time this year.
NOTE: Vermini is not GEN 6! He's in my dex I just wanted to show a battle. He was created by the awesome and full credit goes to him! [link]

Well that's how everyone starts. You really do have a distinct style. I thought you would of known that as most beginning pokemon spriters and tilers start of by using your styles

That is true, but Froakie looks terrible. His evolutions might not, but I will find out after I get gen 6. And a 3ds -.-

I think a major downfall to this game is that it's only available to the 3DS; which is a good marketing strategy. But if you think about it, people are going to be using the fact that they don't have a huge drive to buy a 3DS in combination that it's yet another pokemon game, as an excuse not to buy the X or Y. And for all we know, it could just be another repeated game, just with different faces.

Yeah black and white 2 were a real disappointment. Just a repeated game, with no real gameplay mechanic changes.

I really wish they would bring that back, i love the little sprites fallowing me as i go : P

Yess I had to make sure the pokemon following was there, it's the best thing ever. You can also check how happy it is with you by talking to it.

This is freaking fantastic! O_O I love it especially because X and Y are going to be in a more 3D style and I was really sad that it was branching away from the incredibly loved 2D pixel-y style. Even if it isn't the new game to a T (or at all), I appreciate the style and work you're putting into it and am greatly looking forward to this when it's released!

Agreed. I know new styles and technology is being used and such, but the traditional pixel style is what I especially love about eat game.

exactly. I love how the designers were able to take a few pixels and make beautiful environments that can't compare to any other video game environment in any other video game. Sky is the whole reason I want to work for Nintendo when I grow up.

I mean, if they wanted to introduce the new 3D styles and technology they possess, they could have done it similarly to the new Epic Mickey for 3DS--the game is 2D but the 3D gives it so much depth it's amazing. And it keeps with the 2D style! I wish they could have done that instead of releasing it with totally different graphics...

exactly. Also, I hope that they keep certain aspects of sky, such as the locales (Wigglytuff's Guild, Treasure Town, etc.)
