Description
Yaolang and Tiashilang are truly unique Creatures of Grimm. Yaolang resembles a black wolf, it has a small bone-like mask and bone plates on it's shoulders and running down it's back with bone-like spines on said plates. They are very aggressive to humans, it appears during a time of crisis in the vast wildlife of Remnant, if a traveler or hiker becomes exhausted or wounded, a Yaolang will surely kill them. It is rumored that if one hears the distinctive howl of a Yaolong, their family will be cursed with bad luck until the next generation.

Tiashilang are the exact opposite to their male counterparts, their fur is mostly white and gray and their bone plates are black, their mask is upside down and their are considered an omen of good luck and are welcome near civilization. They are very peaceful to humans, unless provoked. They appears at times of crisis in the vast wildlife of Remnant, if a traveler or hiker becomes exhausted or wounded, a Tiashilang will come to their aid and lead them to safety. It is rumored that if one hears the distinctive howl of a Tiashilang, their family will be blessed with good luck until the next generation.

Despite these differences Tiashilang and Yaolang rely on each other once a pair mate, together they can take down nearly any opponent, they can howl loudly in unison to buff themselves, this includes healing wounds, doing more damage, ect. A couple of these particular species Grimm are called "Moons". When one one Moon dies the other will become significantly weaker and loses it's magical properties until it finds a new mate. A Moon pup will be a dull grey and will either become black or white when it grows older depending on it's gender.
