They walked out of the theatre. Tommie was talking excitedly about the movie and what had happened, which actors were cute, and the motivations of the villain. Normally, Ary was all about dissecting horror movies; she tended to tear them apart, and, if given the opportunity, would go on for hours about how no zombie flick would ever live up to 1985s Return of the Living Dead. But right now she was far too distracted with Tommie’s ass, which bobbed in front of her and kept perfect time.

Tommie was going on about how she thought that that the film had been an homage to John Carpenter’s The Thing except this time set on a blimp when she noticed Ary’s expression.

“What’s the matter?” She asked, concerned that the movie had been too much for Ary.

“Nothing.” Ary responded. Her voice was an octave too high, and her face looked a bit too guilty. Break it to her now and avoid the fallout later. “Do those pants fit?” Smooth.

Tommie Looked down slowly. Realization hit her face before her eyes hit her belly. Her enlarged stomach hung over fattened thighs, and the excessive jiggling she had felt in her rear made all too much sense now. Mortified, she took her new belly in her hands, and tried to push it back in. It didn’t budge. She bounced it a little and watched it ripple across her now ample frame.

She stood there for a few moments bouncing her belly and not making a sound.

“You alright, babe?” Ary asked and put a hand on her shoulder. Tommie didn’t respond. “Come on, let’s go.” She took her girlfriend by the hand and the pair of fat women made it out to the parking lot where they hailed a cab and began the ride home.
