Description
I finally finished this animation that I’ve been wanting to do since I discovered Lapidot. It took way longer than I expected hahaha. Special thanks tosburbanmom and those in the Lapidot chat on Skype for helping decide where they’d be dancing; I ended up deciding to go with that grassy cliff overlooking the ocean from Steven Universe episode “Island Advanture.” That clip at the end is the visor activation for what I’d imagine their fusion to resemble if they ever fused.
I hope they actually get to dance/fuse on the show someday! Or at least exchange one word with each other…
I do NOT own the characters Peridot or Lapis Lazuli; they belong to Rebecca Sugar. This is fan art.

I swear Peridot is the only gem (that isn't a fusion) so far who hasn't fused... so it would be cool to see her fuse with anyone at all... I personally hope it would be Lapis... or Jasper, seeing as they're both the main evil gems, but... Lapis would be good XD I sorta-kinda ship Lapidot...

Yeah, she is haha. I wouldn't mind seeing her fuse with either Jasper or Lapis either; I'm pretty okay with both ships (I just happen to draw the one I sort of favor slightly more haha)

I'm kinda the same with those ships... although because of Jasper's personality I think any ship she's in, even if it's with Peridot, would be kinda abusive... And I don't know how I came to ship Lapidot, but somehow I like it XD

Yeah, true... unless the next stevenbomb reveals some more things about her character, I have a hard time picturing her in a non-abusive relationship. Same here haha. Just one night at 3am on tumblr and BAM I started shipping it; I blame my lack of sleep that night.

-Shrug- Still worth a try once your animation is smoother and you practice poses. If it fails, we can rally an army of lapidot and make a fan episode! >8D
