And then there's Dracula if you think of all the Dracula movies and TV series or Frankenstein, a corpse that should be consider a zombie but made of multiple body parts and both are undead but can't be sure who would win in a fair fight

Yeah but I mean they fall under the same category as being undead as generally you would see that they are the living dead just like zombies but don't go after the brains.

Then there are the serial killers, they each use a different weapon/method of killing their victims, but it's all the same, separate the herd and it's easy to pick them off one by one, I mean isn't it stupid for them to go splitting up when there's a murderer on the loose.

I know! When you split up, the killer/monster will get you one at a time! DON'T THEY KNOW THAT?! D:<

I think it's the fear that gets them, fear of being the first one killed so they run to save their own skin which in the end you'll still wind up dead. That's the rules of the game baby, never go on your own

That could be possible, but seriously, it happens all the time in horror movies! It's a little annoying if you ask me.
Another thing I seemed to notice in horror movies. The men. They're either complete jackasses or they're just stupid and screw everyone over. I somewhat noticed it, but then when Doug Walker brought it up in his review for Paranormal Activity 3 that horror movies are kinda anti men. I mentioned it to my friend when we were watching "Don't be afraid of the dark".

Hmm you do have a point in that case, I mean if you think about it, it's basically like they think they're superior and invulnerable or whatever but we're all human and let's face it, killers don't give a damn about who they kill as long as they get their jollies off the chase and the thrill of slaughtering people. You seen ANOES, Freddy likes to play with his victims before he finally shows himself to them so he can bask in the scent of their fear, it's like a aphrodisiac to them.

I agree. They're either "Oh, it's just your imagination" or "You're crazy" even when it's clear something horrible is happening! It makes me wanna slam my head against a wall.
Did you see Don't be afraid of the Dark?

Yep I did, I have to say it was awesome, especially since you see Sally is trying to tell everyone about them and nobody believes her. What's wrong with trying to find the girl is scared out of her mind and they think oh she's just depress or something

I loved it, too! It really scared the shit out of me. It was a lot better than I imagined it was going to be. When I found that Guillermo del Toro had worked on this movie, then I knew it was going to be a great movie.
Yeah, I felt really bad for Sally, since I found her to be pretty relatable to me. I also liked the development in the relationship between her and Kim (The father's GF). I also liked how Kim was pretty much the only one on Sally's side. The father, URGH! He was so stupid!

Yes but they think all children try to gain attention by making things up, no offense but children say they see something and the parents don't think it's real because they have no more sense of imagination unless it shove right in their faces. I agree it was an awesome movie, right next to Pan's Labyrinth, that was a great movie. It had a more dark depth than Burton's style but still though it awesome

You could make that arguement, but remember when Kim was showing the father Katie's drawings and was showing that it clearly looked like the drawings that Blackwood made of those demons, that wasn't coincidental. Nobody is that naive! Throughout the movie, I was just saying to myself, "Please tell me he dies!" And I was so dissappointed that he didn't.

I never exactly saw Pan's Labyrinth.
But yes, I felt the father should have died instead of Kim. He screws everyone over like three or four times in one movie!

Yeah sometimes parents deserve a kick in the tush for them to get themselves to see they're not so involve with their kids when they're asking for their help, I think that's why the grimm fairytales had a lot of the parents killed because they wanted to give just punishment for those that did the hero/heroine wrong.

My sis went and saw Cabin in the woods, said it was good, I'm missing a lot of good movies in theaters but can wait for when it's on DVD but one movie I'm going to try and see is Dark Shadows!

That movie looks awesome! I really wanted to see Cabin the Woods, but my local theather says eveyone has to be seventeen or over to see it, which is very stupid. One of my friends and I were going to see it for my birthday, but we couldn't. She was sixteen and I'm seventeen. Don't they know that we've probably seen worse than that?!

true I mean it's not like the news edits out a lot of stuff and people have seen doc on those war films and whatever, geez but still if they fear that why don't those movies on Tv get block when we seen those r rated ones.

It's funny because I remember watching the film for the second time with a friend (when I could actually understand what was going on; All I could remember identifying as a kid was 'Oooh bees! ' and 'Random flying black man! ^.^" while blissfully unaware of everything else LOL) and the scene where Candyman technically 'kisses' her my friend remarked "That's a better love story than Twilight right there."
Indeed it's epic! Glad I could find someone who agrees wqith me! *high fives you*

Yeah true I mean you don't find a lot of black killers, no offense and this one was so good, Tony Todd is such a great actor besides Robert Englund and Doug Bradley

Heh, I know right? Candyman- The one film where the black guy doesn't get hunted, he IS the hunter LOL. Ugh I love Tony Todd, Doug Bradley, and Robert Englund! WOO!

It so cool that he also starred in some of the Final Destination movies, even if it was a minor role but still as the morgue guy, in a way he was like Death's assistant even though he try to tell them how to cheat it but I bet he knew it was going to happen anyways

Oh my god...that's exactly my thoughts as well! Plus the only reason I went to see a few more of the other Final Destination films was because of him in the first place (though I did like the first and second one).
Though recently my brother came to a remark somehowabout Candyman and Cookie Monster despite having NO similarties at all. He goes they changed up Cookie Monster to liking vegetables, so he wonders if they're gonna remake Candyman to be titled with a profit against American obesity and called "Vegetable Man". xD

Yeah but there's a major differences, Candyman is a legend like Bloody Mary and he kills people, Cookie monster is just a furry monster that eats cookies, what's to be scared about that?
