That depends on how much time you want to spend on it. Several hours or a few minutes.

I do a little of both. My program is very old -> [link] and not terribly reliable. I cut each of the many photos down to where I want them & then input them into the program. I edit the final so that it doesn't look so bad. This one just wasn't looking exactly correct no matter how many times I ran it though the program. I fixed it by overlaying a similar shaded picture onto problem areas. There are still a few nagging ones but I really don't want to deal with it any more. Anyway that's neither here nor there. This piece (compared to my last one), I overlaid with the original picture to help it look more like it should.

Well there you have it. That's just the easy way. It took me about... the last two days... maybe three?

The other way takes about a week or so (ie. no programs). Good luck with your own.
