Description
Another missing piece update.
Simplified shapes and value
Picking Colour
simplify your painting into different regions.
Design the lightness value and colour of each region first, then simplify the tonal and colour changes.
Limit the colour & tonal change inside each region to avoid the details overriding the overall distinctiveness of each region.
The distinctiveness (and contrast) of each region in your painting is a powerful tool in conveying the spatial depth and tonal distribution.
keep in mind of the consistency of brush strokes, use different brush strokes/textures to express each material, and beware of how brush strokes fit into different spatial depths(Foreground/Background)
(the bottom of right)
You can see how the colour was separated here, The tonal seperation was made clear.
when you add the details,
it should be limited to the values specified in this range,
in order to keep the overall sense.
My friend Katie Katie Huang helped me re- translated it.
Much better than before.

把每個區塊變化限制在一定的色階裡,否則會影響各個區塊的辨識;
