At that time it technically was finished, i'm tweaking and repainting it for a June debut at Perth Supanova 2013

Thanks, I'm currently working on upgrading it to Halo 4 (Mark VI). I'm gonna paint it in custom colours, Chief green feels a bit... standard. I'll be myself, thanks

Not really, I was hot for the first hour of work because I was running around the store a lot. But it was a cool weather that day so I was okay. I came home with bruises all over my upper arms and behind my knees. I still have some faded bruises...

Glad to hear that it wasn't too hot and sorry to hear you got bruised all over. How did you get the bruises behind your knees? Either way, you made a great costume and it would have been so cool to walk into a game shop and see a worker like you dressed up. Your customers must have been happy.

Firstly, thanks for your concern over my well being. I got the bruises on the back of my knees from the lower leg armour digging into the back of my legs when I walked. And I have to do a lot of walking at my job.
Second, I actually had to buy this costume as I was a little pressed for time and I've always wanted a Spartan suit. I will start modification plans to match the Halo 4 version. I might do Master Chief's olive green or paint to match the colours of my custom Spartan I use in Spartan Ops/multiplayer
