This is my wife as an elf, well, the first step anyway.

I showed the pic to her and she burst out laughing because when she said she wanted me to draw her character as an elf, she was envisioning Legolas with breasts. And green or blue hair for some reason. So, I worked a concept of HER up, and just threw pointed ears on, thinking of step 2- I threw a bunch of colour and leaves in to make it look woodsy for the post, but it's basically a concept rough. and to reassure HER, yes, the finished elf will be skinnier (rolleye)
