Description Factoryverse is the worldstate of my MLP canon.
It takes bits and pieces from other worldstates which will be expanded upon below.

Also check out the other tabs and society group graphics for much more additional info on locations and groups around Equestria!
Pony Profiles will give further insight into specific ponies in this canon!

The Rainbow Factory - this is the main component to the story. The world is edgy but not gruesome, keeping in standard with MLP being a non-ultra violent place. Mostly for kids, with more dark themes than the original show.

Pegasus are expected to be exceptional flyers, and they have a test to make sure they are up to snuff. Pegasus that fail the test disappear and are not seen again, as to not tarnish the Pegasus species.

There ARE exceptions to this, but very rare ones.

No one knows where they end up, and all kinds of rumors float around. This is just an accepted practice, one that Candy Canter hopes to put an end to on the pursuit of finding her best friend Quick Silver, who failed her test and disappeared.

The Washouts in this canon also directly oppose these rules, and harbor “failed” Pegasi within their troupe. Led by Lightning Dust.

The fate of failed Pegasi is dark and uncertain, but they are not lined up and killed in a factory truly in this canon.

Come Little Children, Princess Luna - this is also a borrowed fanon that applies to this worldstate.

Luna, sick of the total unquestioned monarchy under Princess Celestia, proposed a break off from established civilization with a new society of needy and outcast ponies that could be led under the night of Luna.

Celestia rejected this, and the society was formed in secret.
There are now parts of Equestria in eternal night, opposing the daytime and Celestia’s reign.
Luna is missing now, to the common pony.

MLP:FIW - There are some LOOSELY taken worldstate additions from the Friendship is Witchcraft series as well.

Mostly that it is suspected that robots/synths have replaced some ponies, and there must be vigilance in reporting and eradicating them. This is mostly silly and for humor.

The Mane 6 are seen as ignorant and accidentally malevolent throughout this series, which shares over with the themes of my worldstate.
The Mane 6 are not necessarily heroes, and make mistakes with the power they are bestowed that actively feed the monarchy, and don’t share agreement with all ponies in Equestria. (ex: The eternal imprisonment of the young foal Cozy Glow.)

Twilight’s unflinching loyalty to Celestia’s will is seen as very problematic.
Not all of the Mane 6 are forever lost, and some begin to separate themselves from the blind following of the monarchy.
A slow but meaningful process.

Fallout: Equestria - this is not an active canon in the current worldstate, but with disintegration in politics and unity, is a very imminent future for the state of Equestria.

Unapproved Alicorns? - the vetting process for alicorns are VERY strict and lengthy, as seen with Twilight. Until the children of Cadance, all modern alicorns were approved and created by Celestia herself.

She is very strict about this, and was harsh on Cadance with the natural birth of her alicorn children.
(Alicorns have a less than 2% chance of passing on the alicorn trait to their foals. It was astronomical that Cadance had an alicorn foal, not to mention 2/3 of her children being alicorns. The middle child is an earth pony.)
This shattered her relationship with Celestia, creating distrust.

Her children were begrudgingly accepted to keep with public peace, but the danger of accidental alicorns stayed firm and present in Equestrian society.

Enchanted Error, an accidental alicorn born from Pegasi parents, was corrupted when Twilight’s nightmare leaked through into the world, and with remaining chaos magic from Discord, unknowingly “crowned” the foal.
Her parents keep her deep into hiding, acutely aware of Celestia’s harshness towards unapproved alicorns.

Succubi Ponies - a unique race of magic eating ponies with a lustrous backstory by @/modofpitchpatch (on Tumblr). These ponies are also in my canon. They are seen as dangerous and very untrustworthy, using unicorn disguises to blend in with society.

Butterfly Ponies - a new species of pony-like bug creatures. They are star travelers from another universe that slowly found their way to Equestria, and settled in Olde Ponyville.

Cows - cows in this canon are more ponylike, and are nomads yet undiscovered by pony kind. They prefer to keep it this way, and live peacefully in the woods on the outskirts of Olde Ponyville.

MLP retconned/unexplored canons that stay throughout my worldstate:

Batponies - this one is pretty clear!

Unicorn favoritism - this species favoritism is not lost on the other species throughout Equestria, with Celestia and the monarchy surrounding themselves in nice cities with special handpicked schools by Celestia herself for unicorns only.
The tension over this is rising daily.

Outside species distrust - Zebras, griffins and the like still face hostility when “encroaching” on pony heavy territories.

Anti-monarchy - there are those that do not blindly follow the will of Princess Celestia, and find some of her decrees and choices problematic.
They oppose her will and those that show blind loyalty to her such as Twilight and the Wonderbolts are seen as extremely untrustworthy to the wary common pony.

This is especially exasperated with Celestia’s approval of Pegasus law towards failed flyers. Or at least her indifference to stop it.

The worldstate is very tense, politics seedy and crumbling, with broken societies fragmenting further each day.
