Enchanted Error is an accidental alicorn born from Pegasi parents who was corrupted when one of Twilight’s nightmares leaked through into the world, and with remaining chaos magic from Discord, unknowingly “crowned” her as a foal.
Her parents kept her deep into hiding, acutely aware of Celestia’s harshness towards unapproved alicorns.

Candy Canter sought her out when Candy located and obtained The Alicorn Amulet, believing that the amulet could bestow upon Error untold power without the downsides of corruption, being a “true” alicorn wielder. Candy believes this will help them fend off danger in their pursuit of Quick Silver.

Enchanted Error is a weary and cautious mare, quick to pessimism. Though not cruel, she can come off as distant and cold, acutely aware that she doesn’t quite belong in this world. That doesn’t stop her from pursuing justice.
