hey guys, 2018 is coming to a close
you know what that means

as i predicted, the amount of art i did in 2018 was less than 2017,
which i think was due to the fact i had a job during the second half of the year in addition to classes
(where in previous years i did summer jobs instead).
june was by far my most productive month (i was on summer vacation and at the time jobless)
so picking a piece for that month was especially hard. //whispers i love all my art okay leave me alone
i recently quit my job because i'm moving and it just made sense to;
i hope that means more time for personal art in 2019.

hmmm time for some reflection
i think my 2018 art is pretty similar to my 2017 art,
but i definitely pushed myself in other ways then in 2017.
i experimented more with color, poses, and formats.
so i'm pretty happy with my progress even if it's not as obvious

another life update: i've finally started an art instagram called milk.flavor!
since i'm an old man who doesn't like change, spreading out to other platforms is difficult for me.
if anyone remembers, i briefly made an art tumblr but i didn't really use it at all,
and after the new censorship policy i decided to just delete it.
i think an art insta will be much easier for me than tumblr,
because i already have a personal insta i use regularly.
i'm thinking the content will be the same as my deviantart
(with the exception of the longer formats insta can't handle),
but i might add in some other stuff later that's insta only, like doodles or something

anyway, thanks for supporting me and i'm looking forward to 2019! ♥
