Backstory

As far as he knew, Kylan grew up in a relatively normal household. And even now, his life isn't what one would call all that exciting. His parents both love him, though he is closer to his mother because his father works long hours and is sometimes gone for days at a time. He also has a younger sister who's a bit of a brat, but he loves her regardless.

All is not plain Jane, though. Lately, Kylan has been having strange dreams...all of them involving a strange girl with mint green hair. He didn't know who she was, and every time he got closer to finding out, his dream would force him awake. What he does know is that these dreams are so vivid that his senses all function as if he were awake. Almost like a lucid dream, but he can't actually control his environment...just his own movements.

For the most part, he tells himself it's just a dream. That the girl is just a wierd mashup of all the people he's met or seen in this world. Dreams will do that sometimes...they take features of multiple people you've seen and create an entirely new entity with them. Still...he can't shake the thought that there's much more to this...
