Math is torture, math is terrible, math should die. I"m terribly aware of that. People in my class KNOW that I'm the most extreme math hater (as far as I know, only my class), and WHY ARE CALCULATORS INVENTED? SO THAT OUR BRAINS CAN HAVE A REST FROM THAT KIND OF BLINDING LIGHT!

I don't mean this offensively, but why do so many people hate math?

Some find it quite difficult, such as myself, I've been in smaller math classes and have an IEP and it's just hard.
I had to endure a college semester worth of it and it was hell, even though it was only 50 minutes long, my shortest class.

Why do math past year 6 when we have calculators? No one will ever convince me that we need to learn about solving equations using backtracking.Ā Ā

We'd get along quite well in the cold cruel world, the wise words of Deadpool "F*** Math!" I just can't stand the infernal thought of solving an equation which requires logical thinking!

I can do addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division fine. The only advanced stuff I can do is exponents, quadratic equations, square roots, and some other basic ideas of advanced stuff. Other than that, trying to do math is slow torture for me.Ā

See, math wouldn't be so bad if the teachers took the time to explain how each type of math would be useful in the real world. Geometry may come in handy some day, but algebra is freaking useless. At no point in my life will a huge decision or project hang on the thin thread that is my ability to solve for x.
