Description Exiel looked at the moon, which was setting. This night, this wonderful night. He and Miz had been lying and looked at each other for a whole night. As he lifted his head he heard how she giggled. While their eyes crossed a grin bent his lips. This was the meaning of life. She... She was magical. White as the first snow of winter. Her eyes, burning gold and full of passion. Her scales shone like the inside of a pearl. Every little movement she made was as graceful as could be. How could fate have been so direct. He, a prince of the house of Space. And she, a princess of the house of Time. It was meant to be. Their love was like a miracle. Time and Space would be reunited by the time he would become a King. She would be his Queen. There was nothing that could stand in their way. This was how the future would be. And he couldn't imagine a better future. As she rose her graceful head she stared at him, completely satisfied. Exiel stared back in those golden eyes. He could drown in them. Time stood still, as the moon was a silent watcher of the two lovers. Slowly the dawn would defeat dusk and it would be morning. A new day... Exiel would annouce his love for Mizgarth this day to his father. He would like to see the grinning face of his mother, and her sparkling eyes which behold curiosity. He would become the most fortunate Avian. Mizgarth smiled at him, and looked at the stars. 'Dawn's coming,' she said with a soft, elegant voice. Exiel nodded, and saw how the last stars became dim. The heaven turned from a dark blue into a shining purple. Soon the sun would rise. He spread out his wings and warped them around his love. 'I will never let you go,' he said in a whisper. She lifted her head to his and touched the leatherish scales of his face. 'Fate is with us, don't worry,' she said while her warm scales burned a way in his. The only thing he could do was smiling with a big grin. She was right, nothing would tear them apart. They were meant to be for eachother.

So this is for the contest of the awesome
I found out five days ago she was holding a contest, and to be honest I never had seen the Avian species before. I'm obsessed with them. I read almost every discription of the pictures she made of those creatures. But the Avians who inspired me the most were Exiel and Mizgarth. Ex is the right one, the prince of Space, and Miz is the left one, princess of Time. It's so sad to read their story. How Miz has to marry King Ophiuchus, when his wife died. This happend when Exiel had to battle for the war, and it's just tearing me apart how complicated their situation is. It's so sad. Drej, the son of Miz is also the son of Ophiuchus. Poor guys, however their fate looked so solid, some things can turn out so wrong. I wonder if they would ever get the feeling they have in this picture again. Probably not, their story brings a lot of complicated feelings with it.

So the deadline is tomorrow. Yes, I know I'm late again. It's just me I guess
Anyway, the main prize I wish I could get was an own Avian character. After I got fascinated with them I found out they are only reserved for really good friends of Kilara, because she makes a comic with them too. So it's kind of impossible to make one your own. I hate how the camera made Exiels wings. They look so detailed and the colors look so egal in real. And I know I have a really small chance to win this contest, since the competition is enormous. There're so many great entry's... I guess I'm not the only one who dreams of an own Avian ^^

Done with: Ecolines, my lil markers, stabilo fine liners, white gel pen.

Do not create your own Avian character! It's forbidden to use these species for your own, they belong to Kilara and you have to respect her wishes

Exile's scale work, especially with the shoulders and arms, reminds me of Megatron from the 'Transformer' movie

A couple of friends invited me to see the midnight premire of the 2nd movie; I never seen the original before, but after I saw the 2nd, I was like, '...I gotta watch the 1st one' lol

The 2nd one: you gotta watch (it's epic!)

Your welcome! It's great getting to see some other art

Well, you play guitar! And you're a singer
I always admire people who can do that... I'm not good with instuments and my voice
but what kind of music do you play? and are you doing it already for long?

Yea, I should just wait a little longer till the second movie is on DVD, but I'm sure I'll watch it

Wolfer0624 In reply to LabradoriteWolf [2009-07-29 18:58:38 +0000 UTC]

Thanks!! Well, I'm not the best at it, but hey, all talents require practice

If you take up determination in an instrument, or the voice, or whatever, there isn't anything you can't do. Same with drawing, I gotta get into it, and eventually, if I work at it, who knows

You can find me up on my YT page: [link]

You'll see mainly guitar covers on there...and as of my vocal skills, it's only with two 'screamo' covers I've done. I'm gonna perhaps make some teaching video on vocalizing, because of people who were impressed with my last one. If there's anything you like for me to sing for ya, ask away; I won't bite (unless I'm up late at night lol)

You better!! You won't regret watching the movie, guarentee

Wow, you rock man!
Great guitar skills, and what a screams... that your voice can do those, aren't they painful?
Anyway, I love watching you being busy with music.
Really awesome!
Yea, we all need practice, I totally agree

Wolfer0624 In reply to LabradoriteWolf [2009-08-02 18:11:12 +0000 UTC]

Thanks

Not for me...for now I hope!

It all depends on how you approach the screaming. If you're hurting while you scream, you're on your way to pain. If you have a proper posture, a correct 'mental way' of thinking where the screaming's coming from, and a bunch of other stuff, then it shouldn't hurt. It's all the matter of studying and practice : )

So one day, that'll be the path for me if I take on drawing

LabradoriteWolf In reply to Wolfer0624 [2009-08-03 09:58:46 +0000 UTC]

No problem
Well, that looks like you have to do a lot of practice before you can actually do screams...
Very much things to think of...
I would go crazy if I have to remind them when i scream

Wolfer0624 In reply to LabradoriteWolf [2009-08-03 14:55:48 +0000 UTC]

: )

Well, just like anything you do, it requires some practice to get into it (and even to re-acquaint at times when you have been doing it for a long time!). Once though you start adapting to the ways of whatever you do, it becomes more second nature.

For me, singing and screaming are becoming more and more second nature everyday; same with you with drawing : )

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

LabradoriteWolf In reply to Wolfer0624 [2009-08-03 21:40:57 +0000 UTC]

I guess your right... getting into it, that's the big deal. Do you do it often? Any day, or what?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Wolfer0624 In reply to LabradoriteWolf [2009-08-03 22:02:15 +0000 UTC]

Unless stuff's going on, or if I'm COMPLETELY tired as it can be, I practice everyday after my singing practice. Usually if I can get a good hour in, then I'm okay with it. Most of the time I'd prefer perhaps 2-3 hours, but since it IS more of a physical way of music...practicing is like this:

'You get tired, you call it a day' sort of thing : )

LabradoriteWolf In reply to Wolfer0624 [2009-08-04 13:02:25 +0000 UTC]

Wew, you are busy with it indeed
but that's worth it, you do great! Is that what you want to do for your whole life? And maybe as a certain job... something with music?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Wolfer0624 In reply to LabradoriteWolf [2009-08-04 13:40:21 +0000 UTC]

...Well, that was my idea earlier, but I feel like I'm rushing that

Currently, I'm undecided in a major for college; it's currently with: Music Education, Music Technologies, and Computer Science. I was thinking Music Ed most of the time...but the only thing good I can do with it is teaching a school band, or orchaestra, or choir. It really isn't much of my area; I love to teach others about music, but I don't want to go through something like that.

Sure, I would LOVE to have something to do with music, but I'm still not that skilled yet to get anywhere as a career with music. But who knows, over time, perhaps I might get into a band, and it might lead off somewhere (a friend of mine earlier said someone might of been interested in asking me to being a vocalist in a possible-developing band...but so far, no word from the guy yet) : )

In the meantime, I'm gonna study music on the side, and just relax and have fun with it, while I pursue a career in something else.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

LabradoriteWolf In reply to Wolfer0624 [2009-08-07 12:04:17 +0000 UTC]

I think you should stick with your ideas. I mean, you have to choose the job that attracts you the most.
And I think a band would do you good
Well, if the guy won't say anything anymore, you might start your own band instead! If you know some good music people around you...

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Wolfer0624 In reply to LabradoriteWolf [2009-08-07 13:23:20 +0000 UTC]

Well, it's just getting a major in Music Education isn't really my idea because the best it could go to is maybe to teaching a band. I might chance my mind possibly...but for the most part, I doubt it. I will though learn Music Theory while I'm up there (I did in High School for a year, but it wouldn't hurt learning it again, but in greater detail)

I 'did' originally had my friend and his bro to form a band, but neither were that motivated to practice, so we were stuck. My friend though said he might wanna take up bass and work with that...but...we just didn't really get anywhere with it (yet!).

That's the meaning for the advertising on all my pages: to grab attention to anyone that would be interested in it. ATM, college would seem overwealming, so forming a band is somewhat at the bottom at my list. At the meantime, it wouldn't hurt to work on my skills some more : )

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

LabradoriteWolf In reply to Wolfer0624 [2009-08-09 10:54:25 +0000 UTC]

Well, if that's what you think is the best, you should
A bit relearning can't hurt anyway

Just kick their butts to work it out. They are kindof lazy, and that's not the spirit of making music!
But any other people around you who could be a possibility? Maybe people from your music education who are in the same kind of trouble as you do?
And maybe it is time to just keep it all calm. First college, then band

Wolfer0624 In reply to LabradoriteWolf [2009-08-09 14:49:20 +0000 UTC]

(long message; my bad!!)

lol, well my friend's brother, who was suppose to be the drummer, he has a girlfriend, and he doesn't practice that much, so...he's out lol.

My friend's somewhat busy with...just typical life stuff, but I should, before I head off to college, lend him my bass, so he could practice later on. He said he was more into wanting to learn bass...so idk, if that will get his experience, then I woudn't mind lending it to him : )

I know of a guy or two from my Music Ed. from high school that play instruments...though ATM, I don't believe they would fit into my style of playing. I'm like all around, but they're more into the Pink Floyd/Radiohead (which I like a lot!) stuff...and that's fine by me, but it doesn't work out well with a screaming style involved.

I know of one friend I wouldn't mind forming a band with, because he's into music theory some, and I respect him the most as a friend who plays guitar...but no offense to him or anything, he's gotta work at the guitar some more. He's got the personality, the music talents, and the friendship I want; it's just the guitar playing :I

Perhaps later on, after college and stuff, he'll be more up to par with his playing, and then I wouldn't mind forming up with him.

So...so far, there isn't anyone. I would go on asking people, but I find that sorta invasive, and I rather would want someone to ask me, rather than the opposite, if ya catch my drift! Hence, the advertising : )

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

LabradoriteWolf In reply to Wolfer0624 [2009-08-10 10:56:48 +0000 UTC]

hmm, that makes some things difficult.
Well, if we could give your bass friend the time to try the bass, and make guitarguy excited to practice more, you would get a bit further. But well... it won't be easy if they aren't in the mood right now. But do you already have some kind of instruments in mind you definately want to have in your band? That would be easy so you know what you're looking for. Hmm... I wish I could help you further, but I practically can't

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Wolfer0624 In reply to LabradoriteWolf [2009-08-10 12:18:27 +0000 UTC]

Ahhh...that's okay! I'm glad to be talking with someone about it!! It gives me a chance to get things straight in my head : )

Well, I'm not entirely sure ATM, because many bands have different combinations of instruments, and they work.

If I were to decide now, I'd go with the following: drums, bass, one vocals, and three guitars.

The reason for three guitars is because of the harmonizing thing. Whenever bands play live, and they do harmonizing, they can't keep playing the rhythm part. Hence, the third guitar works out in keeping that in motion. Though...idk, a third seems kinda hectic as well lol.

LabradoriteWolf In reply to Wolfer0624 [2009-08-10 13:13:27 +0000 UTC]

hehe, I'm happy I can help you get all a bit more organised in your head

Sounds good to me. Well, if the bro should give a bit of attention and the two friends would help you out, you (as vocal) would need only two more guitars. I think three guitars will be a good choice. One is too less, two makes it better, but three will keep up the beat, so the others can play further on that. I think it would give some good sound
But yea, finding a drummer, a bassboy and three guitarguys would take much effort. Maybe you should do some advertising... idk, maybe in the local market or something

Wolfer0624 In reply to LabradoriteWolf [2009-08-10 19:28:22 +0000 UTC]

Well...as I said, I don't want to make the advertising thing publicly like that, but at the college I'm going to, we have a 'School of Music', and the sweet thing about it, is there's these bulletins up everywhere. I saw some people asking about band member auditions and everything!!

So, if I wanted to, I could make an ad for the bulletins, and go from there : )

I think that would be the best thing to get bandmembers.

But I feel it isn't always necessary to go to extremes with it, especially if the area I want to do later isn't involved with music.

As I said, it wouldn't hurt going to Music Theory while I'm there, but I have doubts of getting a Music Major...because of the limitations with jobs with it.
