thanks so much! I had a good time making the machine--collected all kinds of steampunk stuff, gears, old clock workings, etc...then, just let the imagination loose...think I had more fun making that than I did the sculpt!

It looks like you had a great time making it! I don't suppose you ever sell your sculptures, do you? Not that I have the money now, which would completely suck if you do, because I would totally love to decorate my home with one-of-a-kind unique pieces like this.

I do have some for sale via my etsy site...re the money: unfortunately, artists appreciate other artists works more than the general public does and artists are usually not the richest people on the block! (LOL) I know there's tons of artwork I would love to buy but like you, money is tight! Still, the simple joy and satisfaction I get from creating a piece and having people like it is worth just about as much as the money! I appreciate your comments and your support a lot!

Yeah, I've noticed that artists are more appreciative of others' works and are the ones who tend to want to buy more but can't because they're not the richest folks. Starving artist, lol! I hope one day it'll change. But definitely, knowing that others like and appreciate what I do is wicked satisfying and it's what keeps me doing it!

This is hilarious. And I love the machine -- does it have any moving parts?

Thanks! The parts are mostly vintage clock pieces, and some of them move.
