Another thing from my dreams. I am using these along with cool ideas I have had to create an SPC-like universe were these entities exist together.

High in the Andes Mountains is a mysterious structure and its equally alien protector. The stone structure appears to be a 30 ft tall doorway that leads to nowhere. It has been named the Infinity Gate, and appears to be some kind of portal. It appears in local legends and appears to have been present in the new world before human arrival. Equally timeless is the guardian. The guardian is a rhino sized creature with a physical appearance of something like a cross between a gorilla and a frog, with a large ornate head. The Guardian stands eternally vigilant and non-moving until something approaches the gate. The strange creature is quite intelligent and has powerful telepathic abilities, and upon being approached, it will state only the worthy can enter the gate.To prove their worth, those it asks will have one of three options: present a password that is lost to time, awnser an impossible riddle, or beat it in single combat. Needless to say no one has ever bested the beast in battle, nor beaten its alternatives to enter the gate. As for now, we can only speculate what it on the other side of the gate. Perhaps one day, the guardian will have one of its three challenges met and the gate will open.
