Father issues, the pain created for me,
The reach of free will, further than I can see,
The bread stolen to feed a kid,
Bending a rule, to judge or forgive?
To make love, to betray your wife,
A decision is made, the start, the end of your life,
My fathers face, I have not been shown,
With the lack of information I have somehow grown,
I live with a changing perception,
The life designed to battle a strangers infection,
The sight that failed, a fish for more than one,
The beginning of an understanding, words of tongue,
The strangers I serve hold a fathers hand,
I walk through aging dunes, without my father I stand,
His physical absence hurts despite my purpose,
Tomorrow, a book of recall to assist the lost and the nervous,
My mothers face, in her smile I can find,
The will to live, my fathers face, death is left behind,
Acceptance becomes fear, the apparent sin,
The cries of fate, the braking of skin,
Gravity holds me in place, physical help does not come,
Instead,distant eyes and non existent voices, I'm numb,
From the obligation of you, of care,
The relevance of darkness, I begin to stare,
