You mean the shutter speed? It says in the camera data:10/1250 seconds I also have a Speedlight SB-400

And thanks! I've been thinking about doing a bit of photography, some modeling and a bit of still life. Would you prefer that shutter speed for still-life, or a different setting?

haha no worries
I love modeling in my own photos, because I know what i want and I can create it haha
uhm, I guess still life I, honestly, for this photo, just put my speedlight on, sat in front of the window and turned my setting to flower(because on my camera it gives the most vibrant colours) and self timed it lol sorry I can't help more

Ah, that's ok.
I don't do self modeling... And by modeling i mean take pictures of my friends in funny poses (for school reason), not in a sensual/attractive way. (If that was not the purpose of your modelings then my apologies ) Anyways, what do you model for? Self-gain or for friends or for perhaps job opportunities?

lol you got it right no worries.
Self gain, also for friends who are in photography programs in college, and I have tried to model professionally, but it was too expensive, and.. I'm too short lol. but that's okay. I enjoy modeling for no money.. less pressure

Too short!?!? Bah... humbug!
My uncle is a modeling agent (for what company I don't know) and he said he doesn't care what height a girl or man is as long as they got the body of a fast-paced American Dreamer! (in other words, damn sexy! lol)
Ya know if you got a boyfriend I'm sure he would enjoy your pictures
But I'm probably getting deeper than a stranger should go into your life, so I'll stop

lol no worries. Yes, my boyfriend would love them, but I never show him my photos unless I love them. and yourself is you worst critique right lol

lol. anyways, photography is a great hobby, and you should deff get into it if you're interested!

Well I'm more into digital art (if you havn't checked out my gallery). Right now my more primary focus is on flash animating with a dream character I made up long ago... Kinda like a childhood idol, if you will.
My sister did great photography! She painted as well. I'm not sure if she has a Deviantart account or not.. but if she does I will tell you
