Description Whoa, getting in just under the wire here. HAPPY 6/12 EVERYONE!

THE MOON
This one has a rather complicated imagery. A crab or insect rises from water and looks up toward the moon. A path lies in front of it, and on one side is a wolf and the other side a dog. Two foreboding pillars stand in the background. I knew I couldn't copy the image, so I approximated. Rose was used becuase the card represents imagination and insight as well as psychological conflict and doubt. The pillars are the dream towers of Derse, because the Moon is connected to dreams and darkness. (I really should have drawn her as her dreamself....) The dog and wolf represent fear and being pulled in two opposing directions; to replace them, I have Rose holding her Thorn of Oglogoth and the magic cue ball, objects belonging to the two opposed parties influencing her. She is unsure of who to trust but must push forward.

THE SUN
This is one of the best cards you can get. It signifies a generally optimistic outlook no matter what spread it appears in. The Sun is enthusiasm, self-confidence, and success. It's your time to shine, so go forth and be the coolest kid around!
The card usually shows a baby riding a horse. I totally should have drawn baby Dave on Maplehoof. But I wanted to show him actually being a cool dude with a cool sword and all. Can YOU spot the two colouring errors on his outfit???

JUDGEMENT
The penultimate trump card uses the imagery of the Christian Resurrection. The angel Gabriel sounds his horn, signalling the end of the world, and the dead rise to meet him. When it appears, it means a reckoning is about to occur. You will reap the consequences of past decisions, whether good or bad. A person you thought long gone from your life may return. However, it may also be a time to sweep away the past and celebrate the miracle of a new beginning. Whatever happens, this will be a climactic moment in your life from which there is not turning back.
This was a tricky one to nail an image down for. For a long time it was the Reckoning because that seemed obvious, but I deemed that too similar to the Tower's picture. Thinking about it, I realized that the creation of Becsprite is probably the most significant moment in the comic, at least until the Scratch happens. It has huge ramifications across the entire timeline, and it has the bonus of being accompanied by the destruction of Earth. From there it was a short leap to include the remaining sprites, thematically tying into the risen dead.

THE WORLD
And here we are at the end of the cycle of Tarot. The World shows a naked woman dancing within a wreath; she is the personification of the universe. Well Homestuck already personifies universes as frogs, which allows me to keep this G-rated. Around the wreath are four faces: human, ox, lion, and eagle. These represent the four elements, so I replaced them with drawings of the kids' planets. Behind all of this I have drawn Skaia, the fount of eternal creation.
The World is often considered the best card in the deck. It shows the fulfillment of all goals and a sense of spiritual wholeness as a person. With this card, all conflicts of the past are resolved and the possibility for a new and better life opens. It is the end of one story and the beginning of the next.
