Description
Taylor Swift portrait,100x90cm
all done in pencil,
took 16 days, 6 too long in my opinion, 6 days that I was in a bad mood and decided not to draw at all. But still counts, as I finished after 16 days :/ Not too happy about it...
For versions in progress check my blog updates:

Comments greatly appreciated! (:
Thanks!
*OH! And well, I am not a fan of Taylor myself, but noone can doubt that she's pretty, and this is what is always pleasant to draw (:

This is really high quality! Great job. What method/tool did you use to create the random hairs on the right side of her head? I feel that after I've drawn in I find it really hard to erase out the parts to create those, do you plan on those before?
I also love the details on her jewelry.

I did plan them before and was careful when drawing but still eraser did the most. You have to keep your rubber clean and sharp by cutting its edges pretty often.
Thank you for your feedback (:

Thanks for your response! I have been using kneaded eraser for those types of things, I'll try finding a sharpenable eraser and try to plan ahead with those types of things.

lol, kneaded eraser is a piece of shit to be honest I used it like a plasticine back when I had it and made funny ugly figures of it xD

Aww really? I haven't really tried any other erasers, which would you recommend? And you keep cutting off the edges to keep it sharp? Thanks!

i recommend you cheap, but not hard ones. cheap because when sharpening they disappear pretty quickly (;

Yes, a kneaded eraser is useless. Get a tombow mono 100 eraser - it's perfect for hair. I also use an electric derwent eraser.
Great work by the way!
