Description
This is the map of Toboe's home village. It is partly inspired on the rural towns here in Mexico back in the day when everyone knew everyone and so on. Pantano is marsh or swamp in spanish, named because the village is located right next to one. In fact, there are some houses inside the swamp.
Pantano is an all-scaleling settlement located near the Golden City (the exact location i'm not sure of exactly, though, given that Seeraphine is yet to make a map of Xemmeshia). It has no technology and its inhabitants dedicate themselves to livestock and farming, so naturally every family owns at least one guil (the equivalent of horses in Xemmeshia according to Seeraphine). They also fish in the swamp, which is also where the Dragner Clan's rite of passage (taming an animal) takes place.
Like I said, here everyone knows everyone because it's a small village, so expect to hear gossip every now and then. The red roofs are the houses, and the smaller brown roofs indicate stables. The brown lines around the houses are fences or walls, kinda like those in traditional japanese or chinese homes that have big courtyards with a wall around it.

Places of Interest.
Toboe's House: home of Toboe and his family. It has a big courtyard and a stable for Stormcall. Often the whole Darktail reunites here for special occasions, such as Ancestor's Eve.
Pantano Inn and Stables: The only inn for travelers in town. It is run by an iguana innkeeper and his family. There's also big stables to house guils for families who don't have a stable themselves.
Shaman's House: The Shaman's home. He spends most of his time here preparing potions and herbs, though he goes into the swamp or the village occasionally. It is located inside the swamp.
Will's House: William's home. He was given the unoccupied house by the Shaman when he was old enough to live by himself. Though some who have passed by on their way to the Shaman's house claim a night eater somehow sneaks in to sleep and Will always makes it out alive for some reason.
The Swamp: the environment that gives Pantano its name. It's so large it continues for miles, and it has a great variety of wildlife. Because of this, beast tamer trainees come here for the rite of passage in which they will tame their animal partners.
Darktail Plaza: the center of Pantano, all the shops and business are located around here. In the middle is a fountain with a statue of Tamako Darktail, the greatest Beast Tamer of his time and the main protector of the village during his lifetime.
Dragner Clan Household: Home and main meeting place of the Dragner clan and its non-blood members, though only the blood members live there. It's the largest building in Pantano.
