Here's a deleted scene from Lost, in which Red engaged Captain in a one-on-one fight that ended in a draw.

In ability terms, they'd be mostly evenly matched, but Red has been lounging around the Massive for too long and he's quind of rusted. Besides, he's more for ranged combat with pistols and long-range weapons. Irken soldiers are strong, but let's face it, given how the Tallest do nothing but eat and lounge around, I think they'd lose their edge after some time. They still recall the basics because the knowledge is in their PAKs, but when it comes to carrying it out... Well, you can figure it out.
