When Mia mentioned that the Adepts were kept under "village arrest", it was not a joke.
The Elders here taking their grudge out on the young Adepts for "violating" Vales laws even if it meant the destruction of the World.
Still at it three years later.
They still have Isaac, Jenna and Garet under their thumb for helping out Felix to light the Lighthouses and destroyed Vale from the Golden Sun beam striking Mt. Aleph (all of the villagers were spared just FYI), regardless they were not happy about it.
Their relationship with the Adepts we will see more of during this chapter will only get more.... "interesting."
